On my Fujitsu Lifebook A544, the system process remains consistently at about 30%. I've attempted to turn off Wi-Fi and network drivers via Device Manager, but it hasn't resolved the issue. I'll include screenshots of my Task Manager and Process Explorer.
Feels a bit excessive, particularly for this quad-core 2.5 model
I understand, I assumed it might be a bit too much. My level often hovers around 35%.
I have the same issue. Has anyone found a solution? Checking the resource monitor shows "System Interrupts." Searching online points to a driver issue, but I haven't identified the specific one. I'm running Windows 8 with the latest Fujitsu BIOS and drivers. It seems the problem might be related to Windows 7 installed alongside it, operating at about 2/3 CPU usage when idle. EDIT: If others have encountered this—this driver from Fujitsu's site was the cause. I used their DeskUpdate tool from http://support.ts.fujitsu.com/download/S...sp?LNG=COM. After it completed the update, everything worked again.
