It seems the artifacts didn't appear on top of the mouse. Meaning, when I hovered my cursor over them, the mouse didn't distort and displayed everything clearly above the artifact.

It seems you're suggesting this might not work without a dedicated monitor and cable. If that's the case, it might be wise to avoid risking the return window, especially if the problem is GPU-related.

I also have other monitors and cables, but I'm still having issues with artifacts. I hope it will happen again so I can check by rearranging things. It seems that if artifacts aren't visible in the saved image during screen capture, it might not be the GPU problem. I've even disabled the undervolt/downclock setting and run Superposition—probably testing if a previous undervolt event caused the issue. If this doesn<|pad|>, it might be best to return the device.

It's likely your other GPU isn't responding well to this problem, possibly the main reason. If you already have DisplayPort and both devices support it, using a cable would be a good idea.

It seems the screenshot disappeared after pressing Win+Print Screen. Try using a different keyboard shortcut or check your browser settings.

You might also attempt ctrl+shift+win+b to refresh the GPU drivers on the next attempt, though I suspect the problem lies with the cable or connection, especially since the monitor seems to be involved.

I replaced the cable and switched to the second monitor port because the issue is recurring. We'll observe the outcome. I wish I had a display port cable for testing, but it wasn't available.

Your nearby store likely carries displayport cables, and I suggest opting for DP instead of HDMI whenever possible for gaming. I see latency problems with HDMI, especially at high refresh and framerate settings.

I examined the back of my monitor and it seems I have just two HDMI ports and one VGA. Most of the time I play at 60fps, but I noticed similar issues on Reddit. Someone suggested changing Chrome’s rendering back to OpenGL, which helped on my main screen but caused problems on the secondary monitor using the iGPU. Could extending the display from the dGPU on my main screen to the iGPU on the secondary be causing the artifacts?

It's a lot of factors to consider quickly, until you've tried everything. This means checking each variable—like the browser, cable, monitor, GPU—and switching options to see what works best.
