I put in afterburner and attempted to overclock my 1060, but then my pc froze and I had to restart. I already connected my monitor to the motherboard instead of the gpu and removed afterburner. Still, it doesn’t work when connected to the gpu. Please help, I’m really worried.

Can you check if it's possible to start in safe mode? If yes, remove the video card drivers and attempt to boot without issues. If that works, pause the newest drivers.

Did you reinitialize the CMOS/BIOS? When you perform an overclock through Afterburner, it also applies identical configurations in the BIOS.

Did you reinitialize CMOS/BIOS? When you use Afterburner, it applies the same overclock configurations in BIOS too. Is this really the case? Shouldn't Afterburner automatically start in Windows after applying my changes?
