Hello everyone, I just upgraded my PC recently and I'm still trying to figure out if it's the new hardware or something else. A few games have been crashing with similar issues—Watch Dogs is currently having problems, while Call of Duty: Ghost is also affected. It seems like they might work fine most of the time but can suddenly stop and close with errors. I checked the event logs and both crashes show the same error details. I'm not sure if it's my computer or the games themselves, so I'm reaching out for advice. All my parts are original, I have an i5 4670K, an Asus Maximus VI Hero, a Nvidia GTX 760, and 16GB of RAM. The error reports mention specific files and versions, like Watch_Dogs.exe and Disrupt_b64.dll. Looking at the details, it looks like I might need help diagnosing what's going on.

You've updated several components of the system. I also purchased the titles rather than downloading them illegally, which helps with stability and avoids compatibility issues. These changes should improve performance and reliability.

I upgraded my CPU, motherboard, and VGA card as listed. I bought legitimate copies of the games there. I plan to run them in admin mode to see how it goes. COD is available on Steam and WD on Uplay just for context. Thanks Analog, I'll keep you updated.

You’ve made several adjustments. Have you reinstalled Windows? Changing the motherboard without restoring the operating system could lead to major issues because of driver conflicts.

It was a new setup after everything was installed. I attempted to launch Steam and Uplay in admin mode, but they sometimes worked well for a while before crashing. I encountered an issue with the Call of Duty file named nvwgf2umx.dll. One fix was turning off the Steam overlay and adjusting the COD configuration to run as a normal priority app by editing its config file. I thought it resolved the problem, but it crashed again last night, so I need to check the error again. Regarding Watch Dogs, I haven’t played enough to confirm stability, but others reported similar issues due to incomplete file downloads. I ran Uplay’s scan and repair function, but I haven’t tested thoroughly yet. I’ll follow up once I see the updated COD error and whether WD is stable now.
