Your system is designed for 4000 MHz, but it may struggle with 128 GB of RAM. What are you aiming to achieve? Usually, someone with a 10900k doesn<|pad|>, doesn’t require that much memory—your main constraint is different. If you really need that level of RAM, AMD would be a better choice. If you're just chasing the biggest specs for gaming, 128 GB isn’t ideal. Let’s figure out your needs so we can assist you better.

I'm aiming for high performance, though I'm not sure what you're asking about. I use a 32GB DDR4 3000MHz G.Skill TridentZ.

The purpose of the PC is what you intend to use it for. Having 128 GB of RAM isn't necessary for everyday tasks. You'll likely run better with a solid configuration rather than large amounts of memory. For gaming or photo editing, 32 GB should suffice. High-end tasks like 4K video editing may benefit from more RAM, but not necessarily more speed unless you're doing heavy computing. The 10900k is a different setup, so memory needs depend on your specific workload. Generally, 32 GB strikes a good balance unless you have a strong requirement. Increasing RAM beyond that won't always improve performance and can complicate things.

That's amazing! I use it for gaming, maybe I'll try video editing someday. Thanks for the support—I'm not a tech expert, but I appreciate it. Have a great day! Goodnight.

Sure, 3000 MHz might slightly affect performance, but it won’t make a big difference in speed. You probably won’t need more than 32GB.
