App issues on Disney+ with Intel drivers not installed on Dell XPS 9700
Hello everyone, I’m facing issues when trying to play content on Disney+. The platform consistently displays a support code 39, suggesting it perceives my actions as copying or violating copyright rules. This usually occurs with devices like HDMI splitters or Xbox screen recorders. Since I have a 4K display, the problem often stems from the Intel driver not being recognized as HDCP compliant—meaning it doesn’t support secure high-bitrate streaming. After uninstalling both Nvidia and Intel drivers, playback worked but was slow. Now that I reinstalled the Intel drivers, playback restarts but still lags. Using Windows legacy drivers for the display seems problematic. If I install the Intel GPU driver together with Intel Command Center, does that help? My monitor is flagged as non-HDCP compliant, preventing high-resolution streaming. Netflix can stream most standard content at lower resolutions, but not the high-bitrate stuff. I can bypass this by setting the resolution to 1080p, though that doesn’t solve the issue with Disney+. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. At this point, I’m stuck watching in a browser, which is slow.
