App icons on Windows vanish unexpectedly.
Beginning about a month ago, desktop apps from the Windows Store or Microsoft brands would lose their icons and show the white page image. I searched for solutions but couldn’t find a fix. I attempted to clear the app icon cache, which didn’t help. My only workaround was renaming shortcuts in my apps folder manually, though they’d vanish again soon. Any advice?
