While linking your bluetooth headset to a phone during YouTube playback (screen off), the app freezes briefly then becomes unresponsive for a few seconds to minutes. Opening the YouTube app causes it to skip ahead to the current part of the video without audio, and the only solution is double-tapping to fast forward, which restarts from an earlier point. I’ve removed and reinstalled the YouTube app, unpaired the Apple Watch, and repaired after connecting AirPods first, as these steps resolved similar issues. This problem occurs with iPhone 13 Pro Max, AirPods Gen 1, and now also with iPhone 14 Pro Max and AirPods Gen 2.
