APEX LAGGY
APEX LAGGY
Your setup has a mismatch between the refresh rate and frame rate, causing lag. The 144 Hz display can't handle 190 FPS smoothly.
your setup includes a 3080 RTX, an i7-12700k, 32GB DDR4 RAM, and 1000GB NVMe SSD. Despite these specs, you're seeing only 100-150 FPS under low settings, while a friend with similar hardware achieves 300 FPS. The difference likely comes from factors like game settings, GPU performance, background processes, or driver issues. You should check your drivers, update them, and ensure no background apps are consuming resources.
Check if it supports 1080p or 1440p. Ensure rebar is active and/or remove drivers via ddu, then reinstall. Consider updating the dec or early Jan Nvidia driver if needed.
Adjust the frame rate limit to 144fps. It still works with the Titanfall engine that was previously limited to 120/140fps. They’ve unlocked it, but it added extreme frame rates and spikes, similar to how a 181fps GTA 5 runs feels smoother than an uncapped version that struggles to hit 170fps. I faced this issue and two factors provided the greatest FPS improvement. A new CPU plus an FPS cap helped.
