Early in the week, there were claims of sexual harassment by an organizer. Then a severe blizzard hit, adding further complications. The weather has led to more issues—first several flight cancellations, followed by a collapse of the venue’s parking garage. After two false fire alarms, marshals had to shut down multiple conference rooms due to safety concerns. These developments are quite concerning. I hope they can restore operations soon. I've been keeping an eye on this on Twitter, which is pretty amusing since I don't have an account myself. While watching some high school and CSGO games from Assembly Winter, it felt like Apex finally found a way out of their cave. Twitch helped make it happen by securing another location. There will be an official announcement soon. You should really thank all the volunteers and staff—they were planning to stream and play the tournament from hotel rooms if possible, according to the rumors.
