Hey there, I just assembled a new PC and haven’t got any Ethernet or Wi-Fi cards. I’ve gone through BIOS updates, driver patches, installs, uninstalls, and reinstalls, but the Intel Ethernet is still missing.

Check if the BIOS displays any disabled settings. Make sure the cable is connected and reaching the router or switch. For Wi-Fi, verify the antenna is attached. If it's not, you won't receive a signal. In Windows, look at the Ethernet or Wi-Fi status to see what's active.

It confirms the device is disconnected in BIOS. I tried various cables and the antenna is plugged in. Device Manager lists them, but in the misc hardware section I’ll upload a screenshot soon since I’m working right now.

The answer involved figuring out the right approach to tackle the issue, which should help others facing similar challenges down the line.

Discovered it was an error of mine—I put in a 32-bit OS instead of a 64-bit one.

Yes, a 32-bit version of Windows 10 is available. It’s still supported.
