I haven't managed to get this setup online. I sent it to Microcenter who performed a four-day diagnostic and identified the issue as a motherboard fault. They replaced it and now I'm seeing a console device error code. My components were fine: 2700x RAM, working everything. I'm really confused. My setup includes an Evga 1000+ Gold 32GB Corsair RGB Pro 3600MHz, 500GB Gen4 M.2, 980GB SSD, and 4TB HDD. The CPU cooler is H150I, and the GPU is Ryzen 9 3950X with Gigabyte Aorus X570 Extreme RTX 2080. I also have a gaming rig with a trio of components. Updated January 11, 2020 by RockyWood23. Consider updating the BIOS. The 2700x should handle it fine unless your board doesn't support flashing without a CPU. Your owner's manual likely has instructions for this process.
Consider the options for your motherboard setup. Are you planning to reset the BIOS and use only one RAM stick in the second DIMM slot from the left? The latest BIOS version is F11—does that match what you have? You mentioned having the same motherboard with a 3900X, which seems fine.
