Aorus Ultra Z490 G2 Edition in red lights
Hello, I'm dealing with a problem on my newly built PC. Pressing the case button causes everything to spin and the red LED lights up. I don't see the correct number code. When I power on the PSU, it makes a faint hiss—it's a quiet 11W power supply unit. Also, pressing the Q Flash + button causes the computer to shut down instantly. Could this be related to the mainboard or the PSU? Or is there something else missing? I'm using an 11th generation CPU, but I think it shouldn't matter since the Q Flash should work even without it. I also have dual GPUs, which I've already removed for testing.
Immediately there are four possible causes based on your input. #1 It isn’t detecting the CPU anymore (Bios didn’t update). #2 There’s a power issue causing shorts—verify all connections, especially MOBO and CPU headers. #3 All drives should be unplugged; m.2 devices and board components need to be off. #4 There may be a problem with the board or PSU, though it seems more likely a MOBO fault because it powers off quickly during initialization.
It shouldn't affect Q-Fash Plus at all.
I looked into it and it didn’t seem to be the issue.
Later I’ll try again soon.
The system doesn’t power down when I start it; it keeps the red LED on continuously.
It only switches off when I press the Q-Flash Button.
With a 10th generation processor, you can achieve frame rates of 03 or E0. The exact meaning depends on the context, but it relates to performance levels.
Check your BIOS settings directly. There’s usually no splash screen when accessing the wake vector call.
