I'm unfamiliar with RAM specifications, so I recently installed a 3900X with an X570 Aorus Elite featuring 3600 MHz CL15 RAM (F4-3600C15D-16GTZ). The memory operates at 2133 MHz, but enabling XMP doesn't function properly—it attempts to boot but fails and restores BIOS settings to the default. Is this typical behavior or indicates a faulty component? The XMP profile is set to 3600 MHz with specific voltage settings. The solution involved manually adjusting the XMP profile to 1.35 V, as changing DRAM voltage affected performance.
