You've set up AOE 3 on Windows 10 using the CD, but it's not launching properly. You're able to boot but nothing appears, and the compatibility settings aren't working. Consider checking the installation files or trying a different setup method.

Navigate to Programs & Features, then click Goto Turn Windows Features On or Off. Expand Legacy Components and check the box for DirectPlay on the install files. Adjust compatibility mode to Windows 8 and run as administrator before launching Setup.exe. Make sure DEP is disabled for all .exe and launchers of AOEIII, Warchiefs, and Asian Dynasties. Reboot once for changes to take effect. For more details, visit the provided link.
