I didn't feel offended, so... BO3 stands out significantly compared to AW and all the others before it. If you criticize CoD for consistently being the same (your point is pretty much the same), it seems you're showing a lack of understanding and selective focus.
I'll highlight that each cod game has been built using a continuously updated version of the id tech 3 engine. Starting in 1999. You claim otherwise, but what exactly changed? Minor variations in weapon skins or slight tweaks to stats? The most significant update was the introduction of the jet-pack system, which is a positive change but not a major overhaul... physics stay consistent, weapons behave similarly, movement speed and health mechanics have stayed largely unchanged since early cod. What matters here are the DLC expansions, not a completely new title. The single-player campaigns also follow familiar patterns—pressing buttons to see cool actions, following characters step by step, or facing consequences for betrayal—and the turret sections and questlines remain largely consistent, often copied from other titles, especially after major releases like Bo3 which heavily reworks Deus Ex.
