Anybody try Gears of War 5
Hi everyone,
My wife and I were big fans of big gear games (we lost interest after GOW 3 because of the changes in economics and dynamics). Is GOW 5 worth spending $60 on? The reviews aren't terrible, but do anyone here have any experiences or thoughts about it? Thanks!
a coleague of mine mentioned problems with graphics drivers though. not sure if its a general problem but he has a rx 580 and the game threw him messages about how he should update the driver even though he is up to date. again not sure if singular case or general problem i just thought id mention it since we just talked about it in the kitchen.
It's a bit concerning since I'm using an rx570. However, if I opt for playanywhere, it shouldn't be a major issue.
Yeah, I'm still unsure about this. It might be related to his configuration or PC settings, but since we just discussed it and then came across the gear topic, I thought it would be worth sharing.
My Windows 10 needs an update, and I've enabled automatic updates during the night. I might attempt the game pass...I wondered if other dedicated GOW fans enjoyed it too...
I played Gears 1, which I think ranks second in multiplayer behind Gears 3. Right now I'm downloading it through Game Pass on my PC. If Gears 5 is an upgraded version of Gears 4, I'm sure I'll enjoy it. The worst part was the judgment—this game was terrible, especially for multiplayer.
Absolutely, I'm fully in agreement. The decision was the challenge that kept me and my wife from being thrilled about another GOW. Please let us know what you think!
