The concept of higher frame rates means capturing more frames per second, allowing smoother motion. Each new frame is shown quickly, making movement appear faster and more fluid.

Reduce the graphics settings. That seems to be the only choice. (perhaps try boosting the GPU too)

The statement doesn't make sense because 60Hz is related to frequency, not frame rate. Max frame rate depends on other factors like display technology.

The discussion shifts when considering whether professional players disable graphics options. I assume if I aimed for the highest FPS, I’d adjust those settings accordingly. Particularly in games with detailed elements like grass. It seems you can turn off grass in BF1942 or Vietnam, which would be a joke if someone were sneaking around there. Unless there are specific rules enforcing these settings or providing pre-set machines to ensure fairness.

Absolutely, the source engine's behavior means clients without 128 FPS on their server often experience poor performance, which is why CS:GO matchmaking hasn't been upgraded to 128 ticks. Many players struggle with higher frame rates, but newer frames still appear if available. He's right about it.

CSGO feels terrible on low FPS and causes big issues with my mouse.

He’s mainly focusing on the CPU performance. His brother uses an i7-2600 with a 7850 graphics card and consistently achieves speeds between 120 and 500 FPS.

Reduce the graphics resolution, switch to a 4:3 format, or invest in a better CPU. Also, check your GPU driver settings online and adjust the CSGO graphics options. I’m familiar with Nvidia configurations only.
