I’ve attempted to install 1.8.1 but the performance remains unchanged. My system has 8GB RAM and an Intel Core i5 6400 with integrated graphics.

8GB of memory paired with smooth graphics and an Intel Core i5 processor at 6400 MHz
It doesn’t seem to address the issue of low frame rates effectively.
Because you're using integrated graphics, 90% of iGPU/APUs aren't built for gaming. Close all background applications like Google Chrome or other processes. Optimifine provides a slight FPS improvement and fine-tunes your settings.
