It was a tough day... my Radeon RX 56oo xt stopped working, showing a black screen and making strange noises before crashing completely. After restarting, it refused to recognize the GPU. I had an older RX 480 available, which I used before, and tried connecting it in both orientations. The brand name appeared but the fans didn’t move. I checked everything—even updated the BIOS during the process. I even considered a risky 'oven method,' but it didn’t help much.
I recently upgraded my CPU to a Ryzen 7 5700X3D, which caused bottlenecks with my older Ryzen 7 1700. The motherboard was already maxed out, and it’s the best CPU I could fit on the ASRock AB350 Pro4 chipset. Now I’m stuck trying to find a suitable GPU that can run smoothly, or even starting over from scratch.
I was browsing No Man's Sky when I realized I had no problem with it—except for a few games like Black Myth Wukong, KCD2, Ghost of Tsushima, Cyberpunk, and Spiderman.
Any suggestions on a card that might work? I have plenty of power with a 1300W unit, but it’s really hard to decide now...

What is your budget? Where are you located? Which site do you prefer for purchasing?
Regarding the budget, I understand my system has a limited lifespan, so I don't believe a large investment makes much sense... Therefore, if I stay under 350, it wouldn't be the most costly option in it... and finding a good deal or getting more value for money is always beneficial.
I’m considering purchasing an RX 9060 XT with 16GB memory and opting out of the 5060 TI 16GB to prioritize saving for a non-XT RTX 5070 or RX 9070. The price gap between the 9060 XT 8GB and 16GB models isn’t significant enough when factoring in used RTX 3070 cards. Also, 8GB cards with performance close to the 3070 are still worth looking at if they’re priced under $250.
I’ve noticed low used prices around $150–225 for good condition RTX 3070 models, which are only slightly slower than the 5060 TI or RX 9060 XT. The 3070 TI (roughly equivalent to the 5060 TI 8GB) could be valued between $200 and $250.
I’d steer clear of all 8GB VRAM cards in the RTX 50 series, as they cause major performance drops on PCIe 3.0 boards like your B350. Unless you’re using a B550 board, the restriction isn’t necessary—especially if everything functions properly.
New card releases are expected later this year and possibly early next, which could affect pricing.
I shouldn’t overly stress about choosing the absolute best graphics card right now, since a 5700x3d will remain effective for years and can support an RTX 4090. An RTX 5070 TI or RX 9070 XT would be suitable if you can afford it.
