that's why it has some pay to winness, but it's not intended to be pay to win, those loot crates were supposed to be very random and could drop quite far from you can fall very long. Hopefully they will fix that.

It seems completely unreasonable. They should focus on a buy-to-play model and eliminate microtransactions—random airdrops would be even worse. That’s really naive. I didn’t plan to buy it anyway, so my thoughts likely don’t count.

They released it ahead of schedule, making the game unavailable for me right away.

The process involves purchasing an airdrop, after which a plane will travel across the map and release it in a broad region near you. It might seem strange, but it’s designed to be accessible to anyone, even those who paid for the airdrop. The visible plane is intended to signal an upcoming drop and spark excitement, resembling a server-side event that generates chaos and competition. I haven’t played the game yet, but this seems to reflect what’s happening. There were some issues, possibly due to coding errors, that led to awsome drops in tighter areas.

Many people enjoy this, but don't trust the pay2win claims. You can purchase an airdrop for $5, which only has about 10% chance of delivering a weapon. It's a large package that releases gradually, allowing the entire server to collect it.

Depends on the definition of pay2win. You pay $5 for an airdrop which doesn't really drop next to you. Then the aircraft takes it own sweet time to drop the crate which at the same time attract half the people on the server (if not all) to proceed to the drop. Then there will be zombie spawning around the area so basically you have to fight the zombies as well. THEN you get a 10% chances of it containing a weapon. So basically, you pay $5, fight zombie and other players, open the crate (which takes about 10 - 15 seconds i think), then realized it doesn't contain a weapon in it. This is based on the fact that IF you don't die from going towards the airdrop to opening it. Personally I don't own it yet. Was also thinking of buying it that's why I did some research on the game.
