Watch Dogs is way too over-hyped, now you don't hear it anymore. Sleeping Dogs gets boring and just frustrating half-way though the game, GTA 4 seems outdated. I haven't tried Skyrim, I would definitely get my hands on it, GRID 2 is something I would consider, unless I had NFS MW 2012 or Rivals (I prefer MW), and GTA 5 on PC will be awesome.
Mass Effect and Dragon Age aren’t dull? I haven’t spent enough time playing them to be sure. I find Magic/Fantasy titles can lose interest over time (I don’t know why). I really enjoyed Dead Space 1 & 2, but a friend said the third one isn’t great.
It's not about gaming titles, but why you're being offered an R9 280 when you already own a 760. The performance difference is minimal, and upgrading just for that isn't justified unless you need it for specific tasks.
It was one of the first games I purchased, and it really impressed me after watching VanossGaming videos. Playing it with friends was hilarious, as you create a lot of random fun moments that bring lots of laughter.
Not planning to upgrade in 3-4 years or even more, maybe the extra GB of RAM is worth it. What do you think? A friend wants to buy my 760, he will give me the same money I paid for the card. One thing is true, my 760 performs very well, I got it at 1295 BOOST stable without touching power limit, and always stays below 80C. Maybe I won the sillicon lottery, but I don't know if the 280 is better.
#VALVEMASTERRACE, 3 words, Half Life 3 confirmed man! Just kidding, i'm waiting for Episode 3 (come on Gabe!)
Oh, sure, if you're pricing the 760 at retail, go with the R9 280. If you don’t intend to upgrade, the 280X could be a smart choice (though you might need to push it to stock speeds). For gaming, Transistor is quite engaging. The game runs about ten hours without rushing, and it offers an interesting story. Here’s a quick list of games I like: Far Cry 3, Kerbal Space Program, Transistor, Bastion, Dirt 2, Tomb Raider (especially with better textures on the 280). For strategy fans, Sleeping Dogs, Sniper Elite V2, and Hitman Absolution are solid picks. Witcher 2 is also worth checking out if you’re into that genre.
