You definitely need to understand what those figures mean before sharing. Those are their original character trials.
And if a significant portion of the audience struggles to achieve 3733 Mhz via OC, it highlights the value of your effort. It shows you put in time to analyze and extract useful insights, rather than relying on others to provide everything. Keep it focused.
3800X and 5900X both work with DDR4-3200 (connectivity at the bottom of the pages). You might manage with minor adjustments to voltage and clock speeds if desired, aiming for around 3600 MHz. Avoid overdoing it, as it reduces compatibility and shortens RAM lifespan. For optimal results, use Crucial Ballistix and note that Ryzens appears to dislike Corsair RAM.
Can I run 3733 speed using just XMP settings without modifying the system?
I'm unsure about that. I got a 3200 recommendation for my 1700, it works fine, but recently I found out the 1700 only supports up to 2933. That small gap might make it a bit sensitive sometimes, though I've had other problems with the board before that could be related. My 5900X is solid at 3200, and since both the 3800X and 5900X also support 3200, I'd go with DDR4-3200 Crucial Ballistix. It will default to 2666, but the standard DOCP profile should push it to 3200. Updated June 22, 2022 by An0maly_76 Revised, more info
Really, I think I mixed things up a few times... That’s autism for you. Jai Courtney mentioned when playing Kyle Reese, "There IS a switch, and I WILL find it." Sadly, there isn’t one. My mistake.
Level has been inactive for a while, so it's safe to overlook. Most recent rams should function well. Check the country and seller—usually there are more affordable choices available, like 3200 silicon power rams or used units with bare PCBs in the 2666-3200 range.
