I currently own an mb TUF GAMING X570-PLUS with Wi-Fi, 3800x RAM and GSkill 3200. I can sell the memory but only have two options: HX437C19FB3/16 or Team T-Force Xtreem RGB Series 32GB (2x16GB DDR4 3600MHz CL18). I checked my memory list and found some details, but I’m unsure which RAM fits my MB and CPU. I plan to upgrade the CPU to 5900x but need confirmation on compatible RAM.
Both options are viable. The boards are solid and the 5th generation Ryzen chips are quite flexible with memory, offering better compatibility than older generations. The RAM controller is built into the CPU, meaning the motherboard mainly influences supported configurations through trace routing and power delivery. For a x570 board, you shouldn’t face issues. With the same 3600 MHz clock speed, choosing sticks with lower latency is ideal, but voltage matters too. For instance, a 3600 CL 16 at 1.35V will perform slightly better than a 3600 CL18 at the same voltage. Since you currently have 3200 MHz sticks, all will operate at the highest supported frequency, so your 3600 MHz sticks will function at 3200 MHz.
They didn't sell the 3200, but I worried the 3733 wouldn't operate at full speed.
