I recommend turning off all the lights and adopting the perspective of the character in question. Keep the volume high and consider using headphones to fully immerse yourself. Take control by becoming the player. Yet, if you were in their position, would you remain passive or push forward? (No unnecessary shortcuts in real life either!)
A tool intercepts your keyboard inputs before they reach Windows, replacing them with a default or random key. This method can be effective; there may be additional options available. Another approach could involve placing objects beneath the keycap to prevent pressing it.
That's what I did at the beginning, too. It seemed too complicated, but I just tried to keep going and stay scared.
The initial sections capture attention with a mix of intrigue and unease, gradually becoming more intense as you progress. Once you adapt, it feels like simply moving toward the end.
