Hey there! I've checked everything I could find about reducing MsMpEng's CPU load. I removed the file and folder, tried adjusting settings in the Windows Scheduler, but nothing seems to help. The usage is currently around 150–450 MB. Please let me know if you need further assistance.

It doesn't look that extreme. Might just be typical usage or higher demands on certain files. I've experienced even more intense loads personally, but what you're seeing is normal for a service. It has a price, so what issues arise? What hardware are you using—CPU, RAM, storage?

Thanks for the update! Your setup looks solid with a Ryzen 5 3600, ample RAM, and enough storage. However, the constant high memory usage might affect performance over time. What do you think about keeping an eye on it or upgrading if needed?

0.7% is high? That’s typical, so the RAM consumption is expected.
