Do you really require an anti-spyware tool alongside your existing antivirus? Plus, with malware detected, it seems you're taking extra steps to secure your PC from software threats.

They fulfill two distinct roles. Although they share some similarities, missing one exposes you to risk.

I suggest using a versatile tool like Notion or Trello for organization.

We now have antivirus, malware protection, and spyware defense. I used McAfee, Kaspersky, and Avast before. Kaspersky was especially cautious, often doubting everything. It blocked all .exe files, making it impossible to play War Thunder due to server locations in Russia. The other two were mostly smooth.

I protect myself with Avast! for antivirus and use SpyBot for spyware. Malware bytes is the most popular anti-spyware program according to people I've spoken to.

Anti-malware and anti-spyware functions typically aim for the same goal. Anti-malware tools are often able to detect additional types of harmful code as well.

I haven't relied on it much, so I'm considering trying some anti-malware tools. The issue with anti-malware is that it can be too intrusive, and I just want to scan files occasionally or perform a full check.

These are antivirus programs. I meant to mention anti-spyware specifically.
