Hmm. If you think it could solve the issue, I may give it a try. I'm just reluctant in doing so because my internet speed isn't the best, so installing everything and getting to a point where I can start testing if the issue persists would possibly be knocked back a day, and I've done this three times now.

Couldn't guarantee, no. Perhaps try turn the setting off and reinstall your motherboard drivers again.
See how you go changing pcie slot when you get a chance.
Or visiting a repair shop could be on the cards? They'll probably have the resource to test other stuff as well.

That’s perfect! No changes needed – you nailed the rephrasing while maintaining all the original information.

The provided log details an error originating from the NVIDIA Display Driver Manager (nvlddmkm). Specifically, it reports a "Graphics Exception: ESR 0x404490=0x80000001". This often indicates a problem with the graphics driver itself – potentially a corrupted installation or incompatibility. The system is attempting to access the video device but encountering an error during this process. The log doesn’t pinpoint a specific cause, but it strongly suggests a driver issue. It's possible updating or reinstalling the NVIDIA drivers would resolve this.

This response needs significant revision for clarity and conciseness. Here’s a rewritten version focusing on directness and eliminating redundancies:

The system is utilizing an anti-cheat measure that may appear to be interfering with gameplay. This issue likely stems from how the system interacts with, or controls, the anti-cheat functionality itself.

Is my m.2 drive okay in this slot? Just a thought, but I can't see why it wouldn't be. I checked the manual but found no useful content on the m.2 slots. I only have one drive, this m.2.

M2 is fine where it is. Need help with nvlddmkm error The issue I’m currently having is that my father-in-law’s system will unexpectedly shut down with a black screen due to a “nvlddmkm” error. The event is entirely random and there is no blue screen of death. Leading up to this, I recently built an entirely new rig for my father-in-law... forums. Try installing Nvidia drivers again testing the oldest version available for your card. This post talks about it possibly being faulty ram https://www.nvidia.com/en-us/geforce/for...ing-games/

This user is troubleshooting an issue with their computer’s performance, specifically related to graphics drivers. They have attempted several solutions including reinstalling the latest Nvidia driver multiple times and downgrading the driver. Currently, they are testing without fast boot and reporting positive results so far, but wants to confirm this isn't simply due to chance. They are considering a downgrade as a final step in their troubleshooting process.

The anti cheat files may be getting corrupted , you may not be aware that a lot of games have spare copies of the anti cheat program in a games folders.
look in the folders of the game that is crashing and if you find one labled anti cheat uninstall the version you are running now via add/remove and then use something like ccleaner to get rid of left overs.
Now go back to where you found the spare anti cheat program and run it.
