Are AA, Anisotropic filtering and Ambient Occlusion enabled? It’s worth checking if they impact performance when your graphics are already set to 1080p with maximum quality. Adjusting these can help lower GPU strain and reduce heat buildup during extended gaming sessions.

Typically the load remains consistent regardless of adjustments, allowing it to render more frames per second.

AA smooths rough corners on sharp points Anisotropic filtering enhances texture detail Clearer shadows thanks to ambient occlusion The best approach is to disable AO first, then reduce AA, and lastly lower AF; or try maintaining higher values for AA and AO while keeping AF low.

Use VSync for better performance. It ensures the frame rate matches your monitor's refresh rate (typically 60 fps), preventing the GPU from increasing it. This helps maintain higher frame rates without overheating. Note that games like League of Legends can run smoothly at over 100fps; adjust them to 60-80fps in settings for optimal stability and cooling.

No, AA, AF, and AO are not essential.
