I first observed with Forza Horizon 5 that MSAA wasn't functioning properly, even at 8x scaling, which didn't improve visuals or performance, including FPS. The same applies to FSAA temporal antialiasing – it works in some cases. I realized most games lack anti-aliasing regardless of settings, and the issue persists across different displays. Using a 24" 1080p monitor makes jagged lines more apparent, though they're less obvious on a laptop screen. I've tested Forza 4, 5, Spider-Man 2, Miles Morales, and Call of Duty; in all cases, visible artifacts remain. My external 24' display shows clearer results, while the laptop display still struggles. I've checked NVIDIA control panel settings and attached a screenshot. Everything is application-dependent. I've reinstalled drivers multiple times, tried FXAA antialiasing via the panel once, but it only helped temporarily. In normal apps, the screen would flicker or blur, especially with Visual Studio Code, causing mouse lag on the external display but not on the laptop either. How can I resolve this? Have you considered completely removing and reinstalling display drivers using the DDU method, or trying a different setup altogether?
