A: Halt the vaping near your device, that's the leftover residue.
B: To restore it, power it off and gently clean with Isopropyl Alcohol and a lint-free cloth and q-tips. Expect a few hours for completion.

Besides what @Skiiwee29 mentioned, consider adjusting your approach to lift the crust from both the fan and the heatsink. To prevent scratches, use a standard cotton swab and trim the tip at an angle—it acts like a tiny chisel. Alternatively, a plastic or wooden spudger would be more effective.

Many research papers from medical schools and universities state that vaping is over 95% safer and less harmful than smoking. Your lungs are living, self-repairing tissues—not metal parts. Yes, vaping can be harmful, but I’m planning to quit. Comparing it to a metal component in a computer is not accurate.

You might want it taken out because there’s no relevant background left. Changing the title to "answered" ensures clarity for anyone reading later. No extra details are needed since the original context is missing.

Since I received some silly remarks that aren't useful, it's important to address them constructively.
