I understand you're eager to see the update, but it's only been a day. To upgrade, check the Reddit thread you mentioned and look for instructions. You may also need your product key if the process requires it. Let me know if you need further help!

Yes, there was a command prompt that handled it.

You might favor the CMD Prompt because it offers more control and flexibility compared to the download link. WHY YOU CARE ABOUT THAT!

Yes, having your product key ready is necessary since you're required to use a bootable USB or DVD.

Don’t just install unless you download the tool yourself. Run it and you’ll see an upgrade option: keep your files or do a clean install. If activated, your product key will be used automatically by the upgrade tool. I wouldn’t suggest anything if I knew it wasn’t what you needed. Real people might be confused, but on this forum you can rely on others. Except Terrytek—he really scares me!

I made a mistake; I was thinking too quickly. I'm working on being more reliable. Let's check the progress.

Remember that the link provided still needs a Windows 10 activation key. If you haven’t upgraded from Windows 7 or 8.1 to 10 yet, your key isn’t valid at the moment.
