I need to create a video editor setup that’s easy to use. First, it should work well for your mum with a simple design and layout. Second, it must be compatible with Windows, not Mac. Third, she’s used iMovie with some help from your sister—she’s happy with it. Fourth, she handles wedding videos and birthday edits, working as a photographer and filmmaker. Fifth, it doesn’t have to be free; she’ll pay for it as long as it meets the requirements. Sixth, it should include a capture feature for devices like DV cameras. Thanks ahead!

She handles intros and outros smoothly in my opinion. She can split and edit sections she chooses, add music to the video, create pop-ups on the screen, adjust zoom levels, and move in specific directions. It's quite basic but definitely effective.

I don't understand the point of choosing just a Mac unless budget matters. If it's about finances, I get it. There don't seem to be many similar options that are still solid, but I'll keep searching.

It's just a mix of emotions. We only had a MacBook Pro because my sister finished year 12 with a 97.7 and earned a scholarship, awards like dux, and then she received an offer to buy a laptop. She only had to pay half the price, so she bought a MacBook Pro. I know Macs are great, but the cost didn’t make it worth it. Keep looking, thanks!
