I had G.Skill Flare 2x8GB (3200mhz) before it failed after more than a year. Now I’m considering a replacement, as this model seems to deteriorate quickly. Maybe another brand would be better since I’m getting tired of these issues. I’m not very technical, but could you recommend some RAM that works well with a Ryzen 1700X and AB350-Gaming-3? I might also use Auto XMP, and ideally something around 2400mhz stock. If I check the local store, they have Corsair VENGEANCE LPX, Corsair VENGEANCE RGB PRO, Gigabyte Aorus, Kingston HyperX Fury, and G.Skill Trident Z Neo. Do any of these fit my CPU and motherboard? I’m unsure because some models weren’t listed on the part number list. I’m worried about getting the right speed with auto settings. Which one do you think would be best?

This model, Crucial Ballistix Sport LT with AES, features Micron Rev. E and offers top RAM options at its price point. I previously had a faulty setup that ran at 3200MHz CL14.

I possess 64GB storage and it works smoothly across devices from 3200CL16 up to 3600CL14 or even 3800CL16.

I just looked at that item in the local shop—it wasn’t available. Have you boosted it to 3200mhz using auto settings with XMP? Or are you running at the original speed? Also, is this the model F4-3200C16D-16GTZN?

Yes, this works with XMP. It didn’t exceed 2999 at the start when the Ryzen was launched (thanks to the BIOS), and everything functioned smoothly even after later updates.

I don’t have the precise setup, but from F40 (Ryzen 3rd gen) it began supporting XMP. My rig is an AX370 gaming model with 5GB RAM.
