hello everyone, i attempted to upgrade my laptop (a samsung windows 8 model) by swapping out the old hdd for a new sandisk 128 ssd and then duplicating the hdd to the ssd. after that, i replaced the ssd in the laptop. however, it immediately entered system repair mode, but the issue persists. i’m unsure what went wrong.

What method do you use for transferring data? I’m pretty sure copying and pasting isn’t a good choice on Windows.

You won't be able to simply paste files in. You might have to set up Windows on the SSD first, then move the files over.

Windows requires particular drivers for the storage device. Restart the operating system.

Was das BCD ebenfalls kopiert worden? Das ist für Windows zum Booten erforderlich.
