For any reason my task bar disappeared completely. After pressing the Windows key for about five minutes, it finally appeared, but I lost track of what I was trying to do. The only way it shows up is in that strange glitchy area at the bottom, and nothing clicks properly—it looks like the tab is missing. Despite this, I keep setting it to stay visible. It’s frustrating because I have to restart the computer every time I need to access it.

It looks like something is really off. Adjusting taskbar options or switching to tablet mode might help temporarily, but if not, I’d probably just reinstall Windows to get rid of the issue. That should definitely work, even though it’s a pretty drastic step.

It seems like a small issue with your keyboard might be causing problems. Would you like me to suggest alternatives?

Have you tried re-showing/hiding the taskbar? It *might* fix the issue. That's a windows issue any ways, so like the above poster said, if nothing else works, reinstall windows. Maybe try googling for a solution before that if you really don't want to reinstall.

It seems like you're noticing something similar. That makes sense!

I’ve tested two keyboards and the issue persists. The lock stays on the screen now, and it seems the problem isn’t resolved. I don’t know what I did to fix it—this was a fresh Windows 10 installation about 10 minutes ago, and the problem occurred again. I managed to get it working this time, but I’m still unsure how to resolve it.
