Hey there! I enjoyed the demo of Sony Vegas, but I don’t have the budget for it. Are there other options with comparable features at a more affordable price? I’m looking for real-world experiences instead of just browsing. Thanks for your help!

Lightworks is quite challenging to operate. After just a few attempts, I decided to remove it.

Primer might be the top choice, though I'm not sure about the current monthly cost or if Lightworks is a better alternative.

The program you mentioned is available at BlackMagicDesign's website and is often discussed for its features. It seems to be a paid product, though some versions may offer trial periods or free trials.

I work with Premiere Pro regularly, even though I often switch to After Effects. It's quite different from the other software, and I'm much more at ease with AE. I've also tried Resolve, which works well for color grading and encoding but isn't ideal for editing. My preference remains strong for Premiere.

DaVinci Resolve mainly focuses on color correction and grading. While it’s designed for those tasks, you can still perform some editing work. I often pair Premiere Pro for cutting and assembling clips, and use Resolve to refine the colors.

I rely on Magix frequently but it often stops working.
