I tried BF4 for the free trial and it was terrible, significantly worse than BF3 with frequent crashes. It wasn't worth the effort. I was also open to giving it a shot.

It seems I actually tested it last week. EDIT: Don't forget the strange gun mechanics—I sometimes eliminated an opponent with just a few rounds, and occasionally a whole clip failed to hit. The maps also fell short compared to earlier ones, particularly the disappointing operation locker.

My dad had the same experience too; he was playing at the same time, but it wasn't very good and didn't justify the cost.

It might be an issue with your end. I've experienced no problems running BF4 since June.
