Skyrim keeps breaking again (what else is happening). Sorry for the frequent updates. Right now I'm working on the quest "Hitting the Books." I'm in a dungeon where I need to defeat the character and then locate the three women holding the books. Following the marker, I encountered an issue: the spell indicated a doorway filled with rocks, and there was a door inside that I could open and close. I bypassed it and used the marker to guide me to the next scene. I disabled all plugins except my weapon mods since I don’t want to re-add them. Need some help.

Skyrim has definitely had its issues across different platforms, but it hasn't been completely broken. Developers have fixed many problems over time.

From the Steam update log, it appears the most recent release was in 2013.

That’s because you didn’t ignore it—there’s a reason the debris exists. If you’re running a terminal command, it seems you weren’t expected to proceed.

Actually, I believe the only time that area is accessible is when you're hitting the books, and even then it's just a brief window before it closes again. It doesn't seem crucial because it's clearly locked in his game, so...Confusedhrugs: OP, don't rely on clairvoyance. I stopped trying after my first few hours in Skyrim. The game just tries to find the quickest path from A to B through the nav mesh, which means it isn't very dependable. Press M on your keyboard instead. From what I remember, if you return to the jail cells, the person who stole the book has a key to a door near the cells that leads you to your destination. But don't be let down if I'm misremembering—I've been away from this for a while.

Seems like a data recall problem.

I understand you're skeptical about this, but I found the map really useful even before I started using clairvoyance. Thanks for your support!

I suspected the clipping issue and attempted to test it, though I’m puzzled about the door blockage.
