Sure, I tried the game using HWinfo/rivatuner stats. It seems to be consuming a lot of RAM compared to other titles. I’m not entirely confident, but perhaps reducing texture quality and lowering detail settings could help. It might improve memory usage on graphics cards versus main system RAM.
I attempted all Medium options, disabled AA, blur, grain and chromatic trash, used a 32-bit buffer, but still experienced frustrating FPS drops, freezes, and slow loading even after the first launch. The memory usage remains extremely high, which is puzzling since last year I played Mirrors Edge Catalyst in Frostbite 3 with similar settings and it ran smoothly on my 8 GB RAM.
The game behaves poorly during cutscenes with frequent stuttering and pop-in, even at 1080ti on 1440p. Performance suffers mainly from depth of field; lowering it helps. Likely the main issue is shadows afterward. Look at available performance guides for tips on impactful settings.
