I didn’t really enjoy the paragon and renegade setup; it kept steering my responses toward a more polite approach since in real life I’d usually aim to be friendly.

Many opinions describe it as a simplified take on the original, filled with technical glitches, repetitive quests, over-the-top animations, yet stunning environments and engaging battles. The average rating is around 7 out of 10. A friend who plays a lot says it’s a more refined version of Inquisition in Space—sometimes impressive, sometimes frustrating. It’s entertaining for exploration and combat but doesn’t quite match the depth of higher-tier content. Perhaps a future update will improve it.

I understand the narrative is a simplified take on the original trilogy, with many core ideas retained but adapted for the Andromeda setting. I appreciate how the side stories are engaging, especially the role-playing aspect which I really enjoy implementing. Usually I avoid side quests, but these ones add value and give me a sense of progress in making the world more livable. The dialogue and character interactions have improved significantly, though some animations still catch my attention—especially the subtle facial expressions later in the missions. The eyes are particularly striking. I liked the increase in conversation during side activities, which was refreshing compared to previous games.

The relationships between characters felt underwhelming; it seemed like little changes in dialogue even when playing multiple missions. There were a few meaningful moments, but overall they didn’t resonate well. The combat system has some fresh twists—especially with biotic abilities—but it feels a bit outdated. Still, the biotic tree offers exciting gameplay, letting you move freely and engage enemies in dynamic ways.

I noticed the enemy AI and tactics are more straightforward, which is a positive change, though I miss the challenge of hiding in cover. The overall experience was an improvement, but I wish there had been more variety in enemy abilities and strategies to keep things interesting.

It seems someone mentioned a funny twist in hiring history. A shiplord on Twitter, perhaps confused, saw her resume and thought she had three years of animation work—likely from a college course. She probably just got the job because an EA thought she’d be a fun, energetic candidate, maybe even reacting to something like "Vagina!" in a modern workplace setting.

I believe it helped to watch a video that claimed it was a bunch of nonsense made by an upset individual. There was a tweet from someone in the higher-up roles at Andromeda Production stating she wasn't leading anything and that critics were just trying to belittle us. Other reputable news outlets also confirmed this. I'll look for more proof he gathered.
