You can simply adjust the CPU affinity in Task Manager to match the applications you're running.

I saw this earlier and didn't think about it at the time. I'll check what I can do with it and share an update soon. Thanks!

We can explore different approaches, but first we need to identify the kind of server. Are you deploying it as a VM, using Docker, or something else? It might not make sense to lock CPU and memory allocations if there’s no real advantage.

Server setup would use a partition on my secondary hard drive (500 GB of 2TB). It’s intended for running mini servers for Five M and Minecraft, enabling testing and allowing others to join as well. I’ve seen similar issues in the video you referenced, which aren’t very helpful except with Unraid, and it doesn’t work well without another GPU.

I'm not sure about Windows CPU pinning, but emosun's idea seems solid. It should be the simplest path. Your next step could be using a hypervisor; you might manage with one GPU via WebUI, but if issues arise you'll lose console access and SSH.

Yes, Hyper-V or VM allows you to choose specific cores—such as selecting the last six unused cores instead of the first six. You can also configure a particular IP address for the VM, making it accessible through a third-party tool like FileZilla.

I searched thoroughly but couldn't locate the CPU Affinity option in Task Manager. It seems this setting isn't readily accessible through the standard interface. You might need to check advanced settings or third-party tools for more options. (Photo reference: https://prnt.sc/xj5jxg)

Using a hypervisor lets you allocate physical cores to virtual machines, ensuring operations on one host remain independent of others. Your game servers can run on their dedicated OS instance and be assigned a static IP address. Accessing shared resources like SMB, NFS, SSH, or SFTP becomes feasible if configured on the VM side, though you might need to set up a network bridge first.
