Windows 10 can switch between Ethernet and Wi-Fi automatically when both are active. It’s possible to configure it so that a particular app uses Wi-Fi while others rely on the wired connection.

I understand your point, but I can't guide you through the setup process. You might want to adjust certain firewall settings and consider third-party tools that allow applications to specify interfaces per use. If you're unsure, searching for relevant programs could help.

Steam relies on your Wi-Fi for streaming, while the games you play use your Ethernet connection. It can be tricky to figure out what to search for, but start with general terms like "Steam setup" or "gaming network configuration."

You might begin by searching for QoS on Windows. It’s usually used to manage data bandwidth to devices or apps, and sometimes it lets you choose network interfaces for programs. Just don’t rely on that too much.
