I bought an old MacBook from my friend for around thirty dollars. After plugging it in, it powers on and shows the Apple logo with the loading bar, but nothing loads. The computer then restarts and starts over. I swapped the battery for one that charges, and it has been plugged in for some time. I attempted a factory reset, but it didn’t work. Is there any way to reset it back to factory settings, or is this a lost opportunity?
