Hello everyone, I started setting up my PC about a year ago. Over the past time, I've experienced various blue screen errors. Mostly these seemed linked to memory handling. All other components were replaced, and I’ll share my specs later. So far, the problems have been manageable—they didn’t occur too often and didn’t lead to further complications. But after installing new RAM and a graphics card yesterday, I’ve been seeing persistent blue screens again. What confuses me is that after several hard restarts, Windows boots back up as if nothing happened. The BSOD mentions a Windows signature issue. I’ve seen the BIOS multiple times before freezing or failing to load, sometimes even when my drive isn’t detected. When I restart, I get a black screen and the VGA light stays on. It’s all a bit confusing, so I’ll list my main concerns:

- Before upgrades: random blue screens, mostly memory-related, Windows restarts normally.
- After upgrades: PC starts up fine sometimes, but can crash with BSOD or load issues.
- Restarting hard: after booting, screen goes black and VGA stays lit; otherwise it works.
- BSOD mentions kernel problems, and I’ve had to perform multiple hard restarts.
- Random behavior makes it hard to diagnose what’s happening.

I’m open to any advice—whether turning it off or seeking further help. Thanks for your time!

I've observed that when issues seem confusing, they're often linked to a faulty CPU, particularly with Ryzen 3rd generation models. I've encountered numerous unusual crashes tied to a defective Ryzen 3rd gen CPU. Perhaps consider replacing it.

You thought about it carefully. All the blue screen discussions I've read mention a Ryzen CPU. I'm planning to check out an affordable AM4 chip to verify. Thanks again.
