This problem has been widely covered as an SLI issue. I experienced it too. I didn’t attempt a fix since it wasn’t my system (I didn’t purchase this). It seems adjusting the NVIDIA panel might help, or perhaps NVIDIA released updated drivers.
Just switched off SLI and everything is working properly now. Huh, strange. I only got it because I really liked Far Cry 3... ;_; I won't buy from Ubisoft again until they stop being bad management.
SLI is active and functioning. The current scenario involves the game pausing while positioned on a bell tower in the background.
Your two cards perform at varying speeds in SLI due to their distinct maximum core clock limits. The driver version used is current, and yes, both received the day one update.
I've spent a lot of time on consoles, but I'm tired of this era. These machines feel weak, and the games often don't live up to expectations right from the start.
