I began using GTA 5 on an i5 8400 and a vega 56 with 16GB RAM. The game ran smoothly at 150 FPS but experienced frame drops. My CPU usage would spike to 97%. After enabling enhanced sync, it dropped by nearly 30%. The reason for this change is unclear, but it seems enhanced sync improved performance.
