I assemble my new gaming PC, yet upon startup it displays American MegaTrends instead of the expected settings. There are no available options, and it doesn’t show the BIOS information. All components are illuminating, but the display remains confusing.

Ensure all connections are verified for power and hard drives. Remove cable from both sides, reset CMOS on each side, and attempt again. If necessary, confirm CPU and memory placement, then re-seat the cooler. Refer to the motherboard manual to verify wire routing and jumper positions. Proceed with flashing or reflashing BIOS only if all steps are complete; otherwise, consider alternative solutions.

There are several factors at play here, and it seems the setup isn’t quite right. You might need a BIOS update for compatibility, which could require using a BIOS flashback tool if available. I don’t have enough details about your system specs or previous troubleshooting steps to offer further guidance.
