AMD software continues to fail despite 12 hours of troubleshooting efforts
Are you sure the AMD drivers are causing issues? If so, how do you confirm this? Have you checked the temperatures of your GPU and CPU? You can remove drivers and install others, even on Windows 11. Have you visited the AMD website for 570 drivers and looked at older versions? Did the 570 work before? Have you received it as a new release? Did you use GPU-Z to check your card's BIOS and compare it with TechPowerUP bios information?
Your RX5700 was showing the same problem as with yours. Unfortunately, I had to swap out the GPU since it stopped displaying after some time.
The response clarifies that no specific troubleshooting steps take 12 hours and suggests the problem might not be limited to the GPU.
I'm certain the issue lies with the graphics drivers. While using YouTube, the display goes black with no signal, yet I can still hear the video and control playback. I can pause, unpause, and switch videos easily. Regarding temperatures, the system freezes at around 40°C or between 55-60°C during gameplay. I've downloaded the 23.8.2 version before, but after restarting it doesn't show up on the screen. I've tested it multiple times without any GPU problems or unusual behavior. The graphics card was purchased new in 2021 from a retailer, and I didn't check the BIOS as it seemed unnecessary. I don't want to lose the GPU because my father wouldn't buy another one.
The computer didn’t shut down correctly while I was playing a game, causing it to turn black. I had to restart it using the power button. The main issues were that Windows disabled the display adapter or the drivers failed to load properly.
It's true it's tough, but I can't afford a new GPU since my dad won't spend money on one—it's just not worth it for him.
