EDIT: Sorry about the wrong subforum.
Hello. My motherboard is an old ASUS A55BM-K, CPU is AMD A8-6600K, and GPU is AMD R8 580 8GB. While searching for information on this GPU, I came across AMD SAM (I wasn't even aware it existed) and these posts:
Performance for Free: Unlocking Resizable Bar for unsupported AMD GPUs (Polaris, VEGA, Radeon VII).
AMD introduced the option to use Resizable Bar (for Intel platforms) or Smart Access Memory (SAM, for AMD platforms) in their RDNA graphics lineup. At first, only the RX 6000 series was supported, but later it expanded to include the RX 5000 series...

Could this work technically on my system? I just need a way to enable SAM via BIOS; the latest BIOS for my motherboard doesn't support it. The only options seem to be either installing a modified BIOS (where to get one?) or updating to a newer BIOS from another motherboard, which would require compatibility. Is it even possible?
